Dandelion Wine Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart (about 4 cups) of fresh dandelion petals (no green parts)

  • 1 gallon of filtered water

  • 3 cups of organic cane sugar

  • 2 lemons (zested and juiced)

  • 1 orange (zested and juiced)

  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional for warming energy)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional for magical fire and solar power)

  • 1 packet of wine yeast (or champagne yeast)

  • 1 cup golden raisins (optional, adds body and richness)

Instructions:

  • Keep in a warm, dark place for 2–3 weeks. You’ll notice bubbling as the yeast does its work.

  • Once bubbling slows, siphon into a clean jug (avoiding sediment), seal with an airlock, and let it age for 1–3 months.

  • Bottle when clear. The longer it sits, the smoother and more magical it becomes.
